PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE |
|
Thirty-five years experience as a specialist
on non-metallic materials, with emphasis on coatings, plastics, glass,
elastomers, and polymer and glass linings. Prior assignments with the
DuPont Company included plant engineering experience in reformer metallurgy,
failure analysis and pressure vessel calculations for synthesis gas
reformers, bromine/SO3, amine, formaldehyde and methacrylate
processes; wear resistant coatings, and textile fiber and plastic film
processes; microbiological influenced corrosion for cooling water
treatments; engineering studies of coatings for use under wet thermal
insulation and on fasteners; and on-line corrosion monitoring and failure
analysis consultation. Project leader of research group to develop
technologies to mitigate biocorrosion, including development of a test kit
for sulfate reducing bacteria. |
