STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

Mr. Paller, Senior Corrosion Technologist at Corrosion Testing Laboratories, Inc. (CTL) has been working in the fields of corrosion and materials analysis for 12 years.  His experience covers a variety of spectroscopic techniques for chemical analysis including development of new methods. He is also experienced in electrochemical corrosion testing techniques.

Mr. Paller received his bachelor degree in chemistry from the University of Delaware in 1991.

As a Senior Corrosion Technologist at CTL, Mr. Paller performs various D.C. electrochemical techniques to determine corrosion resistance of materials to their environment in industrial and medical applications. He assists in the interpretation of electrochemical data and prepares reports of test results. He also has experience with test specimen fabrication, routine corrosion tests, and field corrosion surveys.  Additionally, Mr. Paller oversees the analytical laboratory. Typical projects include the identification of plastics, elastomers and organic compounds using infrared (FTIR) analysis and ion chromatography (IC) to determine common anion concentrations in waste, process and high purity water sources.

While with Celotex, Mr. Paller directed the quality control department utilizing various test methods to determine overall product quality.  He was also responsible for inbound chemical supply for production line, batch chemistry, and R&D chemical trials.

During employment at W.B.Coleman, Mr. Paller managed the analytical, metallurgical and physical testing laboratories. Primarily, he was responsible for the reporting of all data generated by the various test methods utilized by the departments mentioned.  The laboratories conducted a variety of tests including: “wet” and spectrometric methods of determination; tensile and compression tests; and failure analysis.  Additional responsibilities included the analysis of quality control samples generated by a sacrificial anode manufacturer using electrochemical and spectrometric test methods.
